I’m obsessed With These Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector luminous Blushes

I need help picking a favorite!
OK, so I’ve been eyeing these $34 Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector luminous Blushes for the longest time. There are six of them now, and I actually fell in love with the shade called Blushed Copper back when it was sold as a “blush topper,” also known as a super intense highlighter, last summer. I bought it when it was limited edition and promptly fell in love. It was super pigmented, super shimmery and just…super smooth and blendable. very super. So when I heard that Becca was expanding the “Luminous Blush” collection this year, I cheered!

These six shades do not disappoint, and when I think of this year’s spring makeup launches, for me, this one’s top three. It’s the formula. Het is ongeloofelijk!

The six Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector luminous blush shades
I tend to stick with the same group of basic blushes for my workday wear, but I think as far as shimmery blushes go, these really stand out for their unique formula. I know that MAC has some frosted blushes…but these Becca luminous Blushes blow them out of the water.

The pink shades (L to R) – Dahlia, Foxglove and Camelia
The orange/coral shades (L to R): Blushed Copper, Tigerlily, Snapdragon
They’re insanely pigmented and smooth, and the color payoff is brilliant. You barely need to tap your brush on one of them to get this level of pigment, and because they are so pigmented, you don’t need to put a lot of product on your face. It’s not like you have to cake these blushes onto your face or do a ton of layering to get true-to-pan color.

And the sheen? SO beautiful, and so, so perfect for this time of the year.

Well, who are we kidding? These work any time of year, but I do like to go crazier with glow and shimmer in the warmer months.

I could go on and on about these blushes!

But I won’t. I’ll just give you the details…

There are six shades, so if you’re into shimmering or luminous blushes, you should be able to find one that works for you. I have a hard time picking a favorite, so maybe you guys can help!

It’s funny because when I saw the pictures of these blushes online, I was drawn to Tigerlily, which looks like straight-up tangerine when you see the product in the pan, and it struck me as unique. I was super excited for it, but after playing with it and the other shades, I think my favorite is Foxglove just because it’s a little cooler toned than I normally go for, but it’s still wearable because of its sheen.

Here are some side-by-side swatches:

Swatches of the Becca luminous Blushes (L to R): Camelia, Snapdragon, Dahlia, Tigerlily, Snapdragon and Blushed Copper.
So, I guess my favorite is Foxglove.

Well…actually, I go back and forth between Foxglove and Camelia. but then Blushed Copper is also gorgeous for that sun-kissed, you’ve-been-out-in-the-sun-at-the-beach (possibly sipping a little something) kind of look.

Dahlia is a very intense, gorgeous berry shade, and I tend to not pick up very berry-colored blushes because I think they make my skin look too red. That being said, I still think Dahlia is beautiful. and honestly, it would look fab with a deep red matte lippie. Hmm… This may be my makeup look tomorrow.

Each time I look at these blushes, I change my mind on which one I like best. I’m hard-pressed to pick a favorite, but I think I can narrow it down to top three — Camelia, Foxglove and…maybe Snapdragon? Or Blushed Copper.

Here’s a comparison between the Becca luminous blush in Blushed Copper on the left and the limited edition version that I bought last summer on the right.
Bottom line, these are all INCREDIBLE. I think that if you like shimmering blushes, or if you’re a blush person at all, then you definitely need one of these in your collection because they are stunning and phenomenal quality. In all of these pictures, I used a very light hand and got terrific color payoff, so if you see one of these you like, get it for the formula! You’ll want to wear it every single day.
